“Where does the name Hopyrion come from?”

If you have wondered if my name derives from ‘Hyperion’, you are correct! Hyperion is one of Saturn’s many moons, but also a sci-fi novel (1989), which I learned about later. With my love for everything galaxy and space, I thought it was a perfect combo with my alias “Hopy” (pronounced: ‘hope’-’ee’).

I am a self-taught artist and have a background and experience in business, fashion & beauty and in the game industry as well. Drawing has always been a big passion and hobby of mine, but I didn’t start pursuing it until 2022. I started getting into the Artist Alley community in 2018 at J-popcon Copenhagen, where I got really inspired to keep creating more! Since then, I’ve had my own art stand at conventions each year, and also started travelling and explored the Artist Alleys around Europe.
